Rise Centered's Guide To Spring Cleaning
When it come to spring cleaning, we know how overwhelming it can feel (and how tempting color coding your entire life can be). Ultimately, there is no one size fits all when it comes to tidying up, so we put together our tips for spring cleaning in a way that feels authentic to you.
1. Make a list of what and where you'd like to organize. Whether it's your closet, your everything drawer, a space in your home, or all of the above. Be mindful of overloading your to-do list. Start small!
2. Get clear on your core values. What is important to you? What brings you joy? How do you want to feel in your or clothes? What sets you up for success in your space? Is there a feeling you'd like to create in different areas of your home? How can you create this with what you have on hand?
3. Take stock & organize. Use your answers above as a framework when you declutter, rearrange and organize your space. Have some pieces you no longer need? Donate them, sell them, or plan a swop club with your friends.
4. Don't forget about social media. This is where many of us spend our downtime, so keeping our virtual lives aligned is just important as our physical ones. Are there accounts you follow that aren't lighting you up anymore? Is there a social media app you'd like to lay to rest? Unfollow, delete, and unplug.
Here's to a simplified spring,
